Volunteering with Friends of Mmofra has allowed me to further embrace my love of children, graphic arts, educational programs, and nature, whether they be in the U.S. Pacific Northwest, or in Ghana, West Africa. El mundo es un pañuelo.

Being involved with Friends of Mmofra is special to me as our work nurtures the growth and creativity of children, connecting them with nature and play. Through this initiative I contribute to children's lives in Accra, fostering a future generation that values education and environmental stewardship.

I often travel between the United states and Ghana, where I am inspired by the ways children everywhere learn through play, storytelling and exploration. Being part of FoMm allows me to contribute to a vision of education, art, and design that is rooted in care for the environment and one another.
